This historic achievement marks a significant achievement for the institution, serving as a powerful testament to the rigor of CPAC’s curriculum, the dedication of its faculty, and the unwavering commitment of its students. As the first group of graduates to represent the program in the national board examinations, the batch has set a gold standard for future cohorts.

The licensure examination is widely recognized as a rigorous assessment of a candidate’s grasp of psychological theories, assessment tools, and ethical practices. For a pioneering batch to record a perfect performance highlights the college’s successful transition from theory-based learning to practical, board-ready preparation.

This accomplishment further solidifies CPAC’s reputation as a growing powerhouse in the field of Psychology. The newly licensed professionals are now equipped to contribute to the country's mental health landscape, specializing in psychological assessment, intervention, and organizational development.

Beyond the numbers, this 100% passing rate is a celebration of God’s faithfulness, the graduates’ perseverance, and the collective efforts of the CPAC community. As these pioneering BS Psychology graduates begin their professional journey, they carry with them knowledge, skills, and values gained through Adventist education.

The ceremony honored 105 students from Nadeleine and 109 from Alleviare, celebrating their growth, commitment, and readiness to embrace the responsibilities of the nursing profession.

More than a celebration of academic progress, the ceremony served as a reminder of the deeper purpose behind their chosen profession. Jethro R. Severino, RN, MD, Diplomate in Internal Medicine, CPAC alumnus, the guest speaker, encouraged the students to view nursing not merely as a profession but as a God-given calling to care for others.

In the speaker’s message, the students were reminded, “You are not preparing for a career; you are preparing for a calling—a calling to relieve, heal, and serve. Serve in Christ’s name.”

The message challenged the future nurses to look beyond professional achievement and embrace nursing as an opportunity to extend Christ-centered care to those who are hurting and in need. Through their knowledge, skills, compassion, and faith, they are being prepared not only to care for patients but also to become instruments of hope and healing.

As the Nadeleine and Alleviare students take this significant step forward, CPAC celebrates their journey and prays that they will continue to grow in competence, compassion, and Christ-like service—carrying with them the values of faith, excellence, integrity, and service wherever their nursing journey may lead.

The partnerships support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through expanded access to academic exchange, lifelong learning, faculty development, and shared educational resources. They also advance SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening international and inter-institutional collaboration in education, research, knowledge sharing, and capacity building.

CPAC President Dr. Neda June D. Salazar signed the agreements on behalf of the College. Dr. Caroline Victorine Katemba, Vice President for Academic Administration, represented UNAI, while Engr. Jonalyn Castaño signed for AUP on behalf of University President Dr. Arceli H. Rosario.

The partnership with UNAI covers student and faculty exchange in Nursing, Education, Business, and Theology, as well as library resource sharing and collaborative research. Through the agreement, participating students may undertake approved academic experiences at the partner institution, with provisions for the recognition of earned academic credits.

The agreement with AUP focuses on strengthening CPAC’s Engineering programs by providing access to shared laboratories and equipment, facilitating faculty and student exchanges, and fostering collaborative research. These initiatives also contribute to SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by promoting access to specialized facilities, technological resources, and research collaboration that support innovation and academic development.

The partnerships are expected to broaden learning opportunities by enabling students and faculty to draw on the expertise, resources, and facilities of both institutions. They will also encourage cross-cultural learning, professional development, and the exchange of practices across national and institutional borders.

Through these agreements, CPAC students and faculty will have greater opportunities to participate in academic exchanges, access partner learning and library resources, engage in joint research, and collaborate with colleagues beyond the campus and across national borders. The initiatives may also contribute to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, particularly through cooperation in Nursing education and research, and to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by strengthening professional competencies and career readiness.

Both agreements took effect upon signing and will remain in force for five years, with provisions for renewal upon the written consent of the participating institutions.

Witnessing the signing for CPAC were Dr. Julie Joy R. Lacificar, VPAA; Dr. Michelle O. Carbonilla, Library Director; Dr. Christy S. Doroy, Research Director; and Engr. Prince M. Minel-Dean, School of Engineering and Technology.

The partnerships form part of CPAC’s continuing efforts to strengthen academic collaboration, advance faith-based higher education, and provide students and faculty with broader opportunities for learning, research, innovation, and professional engagement within the Adventist higher education network and the global academic community.

The new spaces were inaugurated on September 22, 2026, in the presence of the AAA Accrediting Team, marking an important milestone in the College’s continuing efforts to enhance the student experience.

Recognizing that a student’s journey involves more than just coursework, the new CPAC spaces are tailored to meet the spiritual, emotional, and academic needs of the student body. The enhancements include:

The Prayer Request Wall: A dedicated space for students to post their burdens, hopes, and requests. Our team of chaplains is standing by to lift up these intentions in prayer, providing a confidential and compassionate support system for students navigating the challenges of college life.

The Gratitude Wall: A vibrant, collaborative space designed to cultivate positivity. Students are invited to share moments, people, or experiences they are thankful for, turning the wall into a living testament to the shared joys within our community.

The Lounge: A warm, inviting “home away from home.” This space serves as our primary hub for hosting visitors, encouraging student interaction, and providing a comfortable environment for them to rest.

The VP Academic Office: Accessibility is at the heart of our academic mission. Our Vice President of Academic Affairs has established a dedicated office within the center, ensuring that students have direct, personal access to discuss academic concerns, seek guidance, and receive the support necessary to excel in their studies.

These spaces reflect CPAC’s commitment to holistic student development, creating an environment where students can grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and succeed academically.

Students are encouraged to visit, explore, and make these spaces part of their CPAC experience.

Through the partnership, JAC Cares Ministry, led by its president, Dr. Aldin R. Rosas, will sponsor Mr. Natanael Brigole, a School of Theology student. With this commitment, Jaro Adventist Church becomes the first church to sponsor a student under the program, marking the beginning of a new partnership between CPAC and local churches in supporting students pursuing Adventist education.

The partnership was facilitated by Dr. Leonora O. Carado, CES Director, who presented and explained the MOA during the program. Brigole also expressed his gratitude for the support extended to him as the program’s first scholarship recipient.

The signing was witnessed by CPAC administrators, including College President Dr. Neda June D. Salazar, VPAA Dr. Julie Joy R. Lacificar, VPFA Dr. Rechielyn M. Araneta, and VPSA Dr. Leopold T. Balidiong, as well as Scholarship Coordinator Mrs. Donna Lou A. Aragon and the CES coordinators.

The “One Church, One Student” Sponsorship Program seeks to encourage more churches to partner with CPAC to support deserving students and help prepare them for lives of ministry and service.

The training was facilitated by Dr. Janice Taleon, a psychiatrist, who shared valuable insights on the principles and appropriate application of Psychological First Aid. The session equipped participants with practical approaches to recognizing signs of distress, providing immediate and compassionate support, and identifying when professional help or referral is needed.

Faculty and staff actively participated in the training through discussions, role-playing activities, and group exercises, which helped them better understand how PFA can be applied in the school setting.

The activity emphasized the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and caring campus environment where students and employees can feel heard and respected, especially during challenging circumstances, inspiring a shared commitment to mental health support.

By hosting this initiative, CPAC demonstrates its ongoing commitment to mental health support and the holistic development of its campus community.

As the training concluded, participants expressed a renewed sense of confidence in their ability to serve as a frontline support system, ensuring that the CPAC campus remains a place where mental health is prioritized and every individual feels valued and supported.

The PLDT Enterprise team, including Relationship Manager Judiane Mata and Business Head Sarah Jane Martin, engaged with CPAC President Dr. Neda June Salazar and Management Information System (MIS) Director Mr. Elvie Rey Tapaya to understand the college’s current connectivity needs and explore tailored digital solutions, making the college feel prioritized and respected.

The discussion also highlighted opportunities for PLDT to deliver reliable connectivity and tailored digital solutions, supporting the college’s educational and administrative goals.

The visit demonstrates the joint effort by both institutions to strengthen their partnership, aiming to build trust and confidence in the college’s digital future.

Further discussions are expected in the coming weeks as the two parties explore specific areas of collaboration and outline next steps to implement digital solutions that support the college’s needs.

The delegation included the College President, school deans, selected program coordinators, and library staff who worked together to select books and other learning materials aligned with the needs of CPAC’s academic programs.

The visit provided an opportunity to explore the latest publications, engage with publishers, and identify resources that can support teaching, learning, and research. The participation also reflects CPAC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its library collection and providing students and faculty with relevant, high-quality academic resources.

The selected materials will undergo cataloging and processing before being made available to the CPAC community.

Through this initiative, CPAC continues to invest in academic excellence and quality learning resources, supporting its mission to provide a meaningful and enriching educational experience.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Raul C. Alvarez Jr., REE, CESO III, CHED Regional Director for the Negros Island Region (NIR), who formally opened the seminar and emphasized the important role of higher education institutions in promoting sustainability and research-driven governance.

With the theme “Responsible Stewardship toward a Smart Planet,” the seminar featured three plenary sessions. “Smart Environmental Initiatives toward Social Responsibility,” presented by Dr. Mae Flor G. Posadas, focused on integrating technology-based environmental practices with social responsibility. “Innovative Solutions for Climate Action,” led by Engr. Sylvino V. Tupas, highlighted practical and technical approaches to addressing climate change. “Green Campus: From Policy to Practice,” presented by Dr. Maria Victoria G. Violanda, emphasized the translation of environmental policies into sustainable, practical campus operations.

For the participating CPAC faculty, the seminar provided valuable opportunities for professional development, research engagement, and networking, while gaining insights that may be applied to campus programs and practices.
